" 'International English' used by non-native speakers is destroying the English language."

I personally don't agree with this idea. The very essence of english speaking, as happens with every other language, is to make possible and improve communication among people. The statement above basically closes that door, allowing interaction to happen strictly between citizens of the same country, and that is neither possible nor positive in the globalized world we live in today. Whereas it is important to try and use the language properly, its practice by non-native speakers should be encouraged, since it widens the vocabulary by the appliance of new terms and words.

That´s nonsense because non-native speakers probably don´t speak fluently but English isn´t their first language so they need to improve and sometimes native speakers hate when they speak like that but you need to walk in other people´s shoes and think that if you start speaking other language you don't speak fluently like natives do. Also, some native speakers hate non-native because they kick the dictionary but you need to understand them and correct them when they say something wrong.

I'm in two minds about this. It's true that non-native speakers tend to speak less fluently than the native ones, to make mistakes more easily (in terms of grammar and vocabulary) and the differece between their pronuntiation is really huge, so we can claim that it's a kind of destruction, since it sounds really. But, on the other hand, we can say that is part of the learning of the language and the evolution of communication, because that's the reason why we use them, to communicate.
Not everybody can speak as good as native speakers, but that doesn't mean that they are destroying the English language.

I totally disagree with this thought.English became the most spoken language thanks to the expansion of the British Empire and the huge influence of its publicity all over the world. It is all about evolution and development in terms of communication. It seems to me that what makes English essential is the fact that non-native speakers try to get a high level by taking classes or meeting the culture (travelling abroad). However, native people are usually afraid of variations in pronunciation and semantics, but the language they use nowadays was not like that 1000 years ago. If they consider it has been enriched throughout history until these days, let the language be enriched again.

It ia true that the way of speaking of a non-native is not as good as a native, but this doesn´t mean that those people are destroying the language, in fact, the more people speak English, the more is enriched.
The main objective of a language is communaction, so it doesn't matter that a non-native express himself in a different way than the native, obviously the non-native would speak less fluently than the native, but over the years this person would improve.
For this reasons I don´t agree with this idea

The idea that non-native speakers are destroying the English lenguage makes me feel confused because lenguages are to comunicate with each other and there are lots of different lenguages, so native speakers dont realize how lucky they are beacause, what would have happened if it had been another lenguage than English? A little of understanding from native speakers would be perfect.

In my opinion, it makes no sense to think that by using a language, you are going to destroy it. The main goal of every language is to help people communicate with each other and it doesn’t really matter who uses it, either native or non-native speakers, if it´s fulfilling its objective. Native speakers can say that non-native speakers don’t have a perfect pronunciation or make some grammar mistakes, but language wasn’t born to be spoken perfectly, it originated so other people could understand what you wanted to say and to promote interaction.
Obviously, the more people that speak a language, the more it is going to change, but that doesn’t mean destruction, it just means progression. Since a lot of people speak English, it has become a very powerful language and native speakers should feel proud of that, and not be scared of their language evolving.

I don't agree about that opinion. If no one else spoke english except the native speakers, nowadays there would be fewer posibilities of work. Jobs like teaching english, be an engineerot other works, wouldn't exist for non-native speakers.
From my point of view, non-native people would live like in a box, separated from the world. They wouldn't know about the culture, the news, the traditions-etc from the other countries.
I don't think that non-native are destroying the english lenguage, I think the opposite, people have to learn another lenguage like english, and why not, rely on that idiom in your job, family, education...-etc

That isn't completely true. Non-native speakers are not destroying the English language, they are making ir better and enriching the language itself with a noticeable range of cultures.
It would be very boring if everyone spoke English with the same grammar tenses, vocabulary, and accent. Everyone deserves to contribute in the improvement of a language.

English speakers could think that non-native people are distroying their language, beacuse sometimes we use grammar forms in a bad way or we don't know a word, but that's load of rubbish.
Because the main reason of language it's the posibility of communicate with other people, and it doesn't matter how your pronuntiation is or how you use the grammar while you get undertand.

You've hit the nail on the head, one of the most positive aspect is the ability to travel all around the world, meeting people and communicating, the only disadvantage I can see is that non native people could find their own language difficult to learn

I don´t agree with this opinion. It does not have sense. It´s true that non-native speaker can speak worse that native speakers (obviously) but inglish it´s the global language in the world and it´s positive for the language that other people that don´t live in inglish speaking countries used it becouse it makes the culture better. It not destroy the language it makes it more complete. Diego Sanchez.
